Humble TX.
"Police are searching for a suspect who wore a referee's shirt and brought a fake bomb to a bank in Humble as part of a robbery. The suspect entered the Citi bank branch in the 9400 block of FM 1960 Bypass around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. He walked into the building carrying a partially-wrapped Christmas gift and showed the two tellers on duty that the top of the 'gift' was exposed and contained a propane tank with red wires, according to a statement released by the Humble Police
Department. Police say the suspect told the tellers the wrapped 'gift' was a bomb and then demanded money from them. The tellers handed two bundles of cash to the suspect and he fled on foot. The suspect left the wrapped item on the bank counter. Officers later determined the wrapped item was not a bomb.
Police describe the suspect as a white man who stands at a height between 5-feet 6-inches to 5-feet 10-inches tall, weighs approximately 175 pounds and has a medium to stocky build. While Humble Police try to find this guy, they do have some good news to report: bank robberies are down 40 percent in Humble."
